Angela Wright combines more than 25 years’ experience across leadership, coaching, supervision, and professional services.
Her work supports senior leaders operating in complex, high-pressure environments, drawing on deep expertise in coaching psychology, organizational systems, leadership development, and executive coaching supervision.
As a Partner at CEC Global, Angela helps shape the firm’s approach to coaching quality, supervision, and context-led leadership support — ensuring coaching engagements are grounded in reflective practice, ethical delivery, and clear stakeholder oversight.
Angela was part of the team that developed the ISO guideline for coach training and the provision of coaching services, and received the Coaching Supervision Award from the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).
Alongside her client work, she contributes to executive education, coaching research, and professional standards development. Her doctoral research investigated what it means for organizational coaches to be fit for purpose, generating a framework for decision-makers selecting coaches and for coach education and continuing professional development. She also teaches on Oxford Brookes University’s coaching supervision certification programs.
Before moving into coaching and organizational development, Angela led large international teams on complex cross-functional projects and disputes valued at over $1bn as a senior attorney working across global organizations and stakeholder environments.
She has worked with CEOs, directors, finance professionals, insurers, C-suite executives and executive teams on corporate governance, dispute resolution, securities litigation, breach of duty, and complex professional, business and financial risks. She has also advised large global organizations on M&A, IPOs, due diligence, policy change, leadership strategy, restructures and cultural integration, as well as advising on insolvency and multi-jurisdictional asset recovery following major corporate collapses.
Her work combines practical leadership insight with a nuanced, context-led approach to leadership development, supporting leaders navigating ambiguity, organizational complexity, and change.
Angela exudes a passion for her work that is quickly infectious. Her deep knowledge and expertise of research and strategic approaches to leadership development, team dynamics and interpersonal relationships is impressive and gives her instant credibility, while earning strong confidence from all those with whom she works. When working with Angela she blends pragmatic, practical advice with a delivery that focuses on realizing the full potential of her clients.”
